Las Vegas, NV, October 17, 2008: Since 1987 a committee of stone industry veterans has selected the winners of the Stone World magazine “Fabricator of the Year” award. The award is given to a North American stone producer based on willingness to pioneer the use of new technology and promoting technological progresses. During the StonExpo 2008, Capitol Granite & Marble was honored to accept this award.

 

          Paul Menninger has worked closely over the years with Park Industries in developing equipment and processes which raise the industry standards, streamline production and minimize waste. The Fusion™ (CNC saw/jet duo) is designed to be more efficient in material flow. Capitol has one of two on-line Fusions on the east coast. Equipment like the Fusion™, allows Capitol to maximize use of each slab, therefore allowing tighter vein matching.
